I read this from Ollie's blog and found it so true and that it's such a great analogy. Quite applicable to some of the people i know.

Right. It's a downpour out there. You get on a bus. It is terribly empty. You choose a seat. The bus pulls into the crowded kerb of the next stop after some time. Heck, you don't wish to sit next to any squishy person (unless it's Monsieur Depp) so you weigh your options:

a. Push everyone away by placing a book on the seat next to yours.
b. Take a chance and pray bloody desperately you get someone nice.

Say you pick the former. When the bus is filled to the brim with people, you continue feigning ignorance and pretend you're waiting for someone despite the dirty looks all over. Finally, you give up. And no one takes the goddamn seat, just to spite you. Either that or they just don't want to plant their arse next to your bitter face, which decidedly is the inevitable end-result of all the waiting for someone, anyone to settle next to you so you can stop feeling embarrassed.

Now, the latter. Someone will come along. If he were the shady sort, just inch further into your side of the seat and hibernate. No harm done. Saves a lot of excess baggage from piling up unnecessarily.

Bottomline: Leave your options open. Don't shut every other person out simply because one faggot took a swipe at your heart and broke it. Someone nice will come along.

Watched DVC (Da Vinci Code) with boon after the writing of the testimonial thing.

Wahaha the writing part was disastrous dunno how to start and all..

And erm to sing praises for ourselves? That's quite weird cuz ppl usually dun commend themselves rite?

Yeah and so after writing all those weird stuff, wenta j8 to catch the movie.

Hmm okay i did not read the storybook so i dun quite get the whole story like how this plot led to the other etc..

But overall it was quite okay at least i didn't sleep.

The only movie that got me so bored and fell aslp was Chronicles of Riddick it was extreme lah.

Still rmb that was during sec 4 and i watched it with lai at bugis cuz there was nth to watch!

Yesterday.. me, boon and yvn joined the pangs of crowd at the great singapore sales (erm not that great afterall haha) after yvn finished her tennis nyopen in the morning.

First runner-up not bad le leh!

Hah! Den we planned our itinery to walk from which end to which other end so exciting!

Shall not go into details but all of us bought at least 3 items =)

I spent the least followed by boon then yvn lah as expected hahah

My mum banned me from going out tdy despite me asking her like quite a number of times!

So in the end i couldn't go for louis's bday celebration though i wanted to.

Dun see any point in keeping me at home though..

Just slacked my mid aftn away watching tv and sg idol later on..

Then here I am surfing the net aimlessly and blog and friendster hopping.

I think i must come online less often, sleep less meaning wake up earlier or sleep later, stop procrastinating and lastly erm.. study harder? Yes that's it!!

Okay so i guess i've blogged all that i wanted to (actually not really some stuff cannot be put on blog for the whole world to know).

The season is really over..

Seems like HC bagged home double victory today but oh wells..

The girls really put up a great fight there was fighting spirit, hunger for the ball, running up and down the court upteen times, bringing out the best of themselves and lastly, this is a target reached!!!

For these, i'm sure we deserve some respect from everyone. =)

It was really quite unthinkable that we came this far, this far to the semi-finals to fight for the first second and third positions.

Well.. at least that's what i think.

Just wanna say that everyone, i mean seriously everyone in nyjc bbgt had put up a good fight against all odds and the fact that we're the black horses, it doesn't really matter that we lost, so long we know that we had tried our best!

Three cheers for that! =D

Last two trainings next week with napfa to be taken during trng!

Oh man! My sit and reach!!

It has always been an obstacle to getting gold and if I get silver, sit and reach is the cause of it!

And now that they've raised the standards, hah i think i wun be able to get gold! =P

Today was such a thrilling and heart-throbbing match we were all so excited, anxious and everything else!

Most of the spectators were rooting for us heh heh so happy.

Everyone did well..

It was a good fight and yay! We beat them! =D
